Great location with lovely views. Super-clean and well-equipped. Bonus being able to walk to Nine Ladies Stone Circle from the cottage!

Petras place was lovely! Had a great time staying here with my mum and sister, everything was nearly perfect with the place except some minor things but that isn’t the hosts fault as the actual place was beautiful and felt very much like home, would definitely recommend to people to come stay here.

Betty’s Cottage is a lovely place with beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Its location is great, close to towns such as Bakewell and Matlock. Our stay felt very cozy and homely, and Petra communicates very fast and effectively. There is also lots of outdoor space for dogs, including a completely secure paddock just outside the main entrance. Control over things such as the heating, hot water and log burner is also very appreciated. Will definitely be back!
Really beautiful spot. Just lacking a little corner shop as had no car but found one a couple of miles away in Winster.

Lovely, homely cottage which had everything we needed, and well set up for our dog too.
Clean and spacious, with cracking views from the lounge and main bedroom windows.
The outside space was decorated with fairy lights at the front and a fabulous seated area overlooking the valley at the back.
Lots of walks right from the doorstep and a great location to stay as a base for exploring other places.

Great cottage in a beautiful location! Lovely local village with a couple of pubs close by and the bigger village of Matlock within 5 mins drive.
The location is stunning and the views from the house are beautiful and peaceful.
The cottage has a good selection of essentials and a pretty courtyard garden to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. At the front there's a lovely seating area to watch the valley and sunsets. It's well equipped bar a few kitchen items if you really want to cook a full meal (no ovenproof dishes) but it's comfortable and clean and really cosy. Comfy beds and a very peaceful nights sleep.
A wood burner is always a bonus!
Petra is a wonderful host, always quick to respond and very helpful.

Such a lovely relaxing few days away at Betty’s cottage, the cottage itself is amazing and you feel right at home it’s surrounded by a lot of walks and I love the location it’s in! Will 100% be going back!
