The living room at Betty’s Cottage oozes character with a wood burning stove, set within a traditional stone fireplace. There's also a comfortable sofa and armchair, perfect for cosy evenings spent in front the crackling fire, whilst catching up on your favourite shows or films on the Smart TV and DVD Player. Here you can enjoy a good book from the well-stocked bookcase, featuring novels, biographies, and handy walking routes and maps. However, it’s the views from the window that steal the show here! The large window allows in lots of natural light, and provides stunning views over the surrounding countryside, just waiting for you to explore during your stay!
You enter Bettys Cottage through a handy boot room, which is perfect for drying off your four-legged friend and storing those all-important walking boots!
This then leads on to a crisp, clean kitchen, with everything you could need for a home from home stay, perfect for rustling up breakfast before you head out, preparing your picnic for the day, or to enjoy a relaxing evening meal before heading out to watch the sunset from the elevated seating area.

Meals can be enjoyed in the dining room, another characterful room with dining table set for three, a sofa to relax after your meal and an electric stove. Here you will also find a great selection of games, so you’re sure to be entered whatever the weather.
Also on the ground floor is a gorgeous, recently refurbished shower room with a large walk in show with both a traditional shower and rainwater shower. Here you will also find sink, and wc.
Upstairs you’ll find two delightful bedrooms, each with traditional feature fireplaces, continuing that period charm. The first a spacious double with a super king-size bed, and an armchair, where you can sit and take in those fabulous views of the surrounding countryside. The second a cosy room with small double bed, ideally suited for one guest.
Each of the rooms are equipped with a wardrobe, chest of drawers and a bedside table, providing plenty of storage, particularly useful for those looking for a longer stay.
The outside area is just as special at Betty’s Cottage with not one, but four outdoor areas to enjoy!
To the rear of the property is a large patio area, with patio seating, and festoon lighting, providing a wonderful place to enjoy your morning cuppa or relax with a drink in the evening.
Beyond this, there is a secure lawned area, fully enclosed with fencing, providing the perfect place for your furry friends to exercise, while you relax on the stone bench.
The front garden has a slated area with two metal chairs, a lovely place to take in the tranquillity of this lovely village.
Saving the best until last, there is also a fabulous elevated decked area with a companion seat, which has the most amazing views over the surrounding countryside. This is beautiful place to take make the most of the afternoon sunshine after your day exploring this wonderful area, relaxing with a cup of tea, and a good book. Of course, remember to bring your binoculars or camera, as you’ll never know what wildlife you may spot during your stay!
